  • I GOT PUBLISHED!

    Breathe... me, not you...

    Yes, I did

LA Case Books, a digital-only Italian-American publisher, picked a novella I co-wrote with my friend Matteo (who has already published two novels) to launch their Popcorn imprint - along with stuff by Victor Gischler (!!!), Anthony Neil Smith and Hal Duncan.

So, not sure if it is kosher to post Amazon links and that stuff... it is called FIND SKULD! (Chimaera: Anti-Nazi Squad), it is set in the last months of World War II and... it is a fun adventure story. I hope. I mean, I hope it is fun, sure it is an adventure story. If you want you can find it on Amazon (.com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, wherever you are, Iron Maiden... ah, no).

I hope it's OK if I post the cover, I think it looks made of the sheer sauce of awesomeness. Then again, I am biased.

Congrats! I know I was excited at my publication announcement, but it'd be nothing compared to yours (since mine was an article on a website, and yours is a full-fledged book.) Seriously, congrats!

Cool cover! I've been lucky with my cover art as well, it's so neat to see your ideas brought to life like that.

Thank you so much - I actually had a couple of articles published (all unpaid though), but this is MY (OK, and Matt's) fiction. Feels great!

The artist is Angelo Bussacchini, who is (I just found out) an accomplished painter and worked for some French comic series. We were lucky that the publisher is friends with him.

And tons of thanks to everybody else!

Yup, been around CS long enough to have a small inbuilt "don't mess it up" instinct.

I thought I had seen a similar rule at some point, was not sure but hey. Google is there, and all those websites that sell it have search engines.

Thanks - it is not easy indeed, but it is so awesome. And fun. And... well, I just enjoy it so much. This and translating. I wish I could live only with those jobs...
