  • $20 costs me my job.

I take full responsibility for what I did but recently just lost my job at the Admiral. A few months ago I forgot my debit card at home and needed to buy some stuff. So if you were in my shoes what would you do?

A)Nothing because you were stupid enough to leave your card at home

    B)Borrow money from a friend/co-worker

C)Borrow money from the store and then pay it back the next day

Any normal person would have selected A or B but for some reason I chose C. Well fast forward to the other day. Someone tips off LP and I end up on the chopping block. Whooops

I think all the potential comments rushing into my brain were just involved in a large multi-comment pile-up at the poorly-designed roundabout that controls my mental traffic. No casualty figures yet; looks like mostly fender-benders, but our Eye-in-the-Sky Mental Traffic Copter is recommending that any comments find alternate routes through Cerebellum City.

I wish I could be more sympathetic...

Ouch. I hope you're able to find something else soon!...Er, I wouldn't put this place down as a source for references, though o_O

Businesses get pretty mean when you fuck with their green.

        Sorry.

Yea I've seen a-z auto parts fire people over sodas. Sorry but few places will let you get them back.

Sarcasm dear, sarcasm. I’m well aware that dealing with civilians in any capacity will skin your faith in humanity alive, then pickle anything that remains so as to watch it shrivel up into an immortal husk thus reminding you of how dead inside you now are.

Oh trust me everybody, I know what I did was way wrong. NOT looking for sympathy because I was the idiot who thought it was ok to borrow money from a corporation without getting prior OK first.

But a post like this can also be used as a lesson for anybody else who might think of doing something like that. DON'T DO IT!

These is one positive thing, I did not get flagged in the system for stealing. Just 'Failure to protect company assets' which could mean just about anything.
