So, I guess I'm still kind of new to the workforce, in that I'd never worked more than 5 days in any given 7-day group before this past 'week.'

Granted, I kind of asked for it. A co-worker and friend needed her shift covered so she could go to a funeral. But I will never do that to myself again. I just worked 9 out of the past 10 days. The stress kind of got to me Saturday night and I went home a little early, but I was back the next day and finished my shift as scheduled.

So glad I have today off.

I can vouch for that. I just worked a month straight without a day off (two jobs) and most weeks I work six days of seven.

Wait until you've worked a month with no days off because the stupid company is short handed and keeps hiring idiots who quit just after training -- however the OT was NICE.

At the country park at one time, we were short staffed like crazy. I once worked two weeks without a day off; would have been more, but I put my foot down when they rang me up on my day off to ask if I could come in. I lied and said I had a very important appointment that couldn't be missed.

Well, it was sort of true; the appointment was with my retail therapist. XD
