  • Twitter makes itself useful

I've been trying for nearly a week to get distributor info on a couple of wines. Short of calling every. Single. Distributor. To ask if they have the wine, I'd done everything I could.

So I turned to Twitter. Asked my followers list who knows the distributors for these two wines. Took a couple days, but I finally got an answer on both items.

    And they're correct! Woot!

While crowd sourcing isn't reliable it can be very helpful, after all, doesn't everyone know someone that knows someone? And with Twitter you can actually meet them.

It also helps that the lion's share of my followers are also in the wine business, and are from various parts of the world. So I have a large base to draw on.

Thank you Lupo! I missed your reply here. Sent the email off to Boss, hopefully she'll pick up at least one of them!
