  • I'll have to do some investigating

We administer promotions as a wholesaler on behalf of manufacturers every so often. One of today's caught my eye.

It's a tea supplier who previously gave out free glass mugs (that only broke scarily often in use) when you bought a certain number of cases of their goods.

    This time? A cookbook.

"Put bag in cup. Add water. Wait for a bit."

I need to read this to make sure that there's more to it than a cookbook telling you how to make tea. I've yet to hear of a recipe for cooking that involves a teabag (though I'm bound to see some in the replies here).

I've certainly heard of loose tea in a recipe or two, and there's always Chai or Green Tea ice cream, but now I'm super-curious. Update when you get it!

Yeah, I've got a duck/chicken one that uses it. (And surprisingly little of it.)

I've seen a few recipes that use tea in other formats, like green tea cookies.

Maybe it's a cookbook for things that go well with various types of teas, like the honey-lemon rock candy stir sticks.

Could also be that I'm wishful thinking and it's actually a cookbook on how to boil water.
If I make no sense, I apologize. I'm constantly interrupted by an actual toddler.

My mum owns a very small, made out of recycled teabags, book that details in precise detail how to make the perfect cup of tea. Tips include: warming the pot & cup, pouring in the just boiled water from a height and picking the right kind of tea for you. So such a book does exist.

I'll wait for the audiobook version narrated by Mr. T.
