  • A bit redundant, perhaps ... ?

I was returning from my break today and put my hand in my apron pocket to get a pen, and .... EEEEEWWWWW ....

My small bottle of hand sanitizer gel had opened up and everything in the pocket, along with the bottom third of the pocket itself and a lot of fabric surrounding it, was goopy and/or damp.

I spent some time wiping off pens and throwing out other stuff (paper stuff, for example) that it wasn't worth trying to "fix."

So here's my question: do I need to launder the apron?

I mean ... it was hand sanitizer ...

Hand sanitizer usually has a thickening agent like Aloe. That will leave a residue. On the plus side, it IS sterile.

It does seem silly but yeah probably just to get rid of the residue lol

Could have been worse. You could have kept it in your pocket instead.
