Somewhere in here I wrote about applying for a job in which I had achieved a 100% score on my spelling and grammar tests, and a good score on my typing. I was told I had done well on my interview. She did say that (they are a government agency) she needed to go through channels to determine whether she could get the necessary funding to add more people to their pool.
After that, nothing. I emailed once to ask if my resume had arrived and was told that yes, but as she had said, it was filed "for future consideration," which a few people here suggested was a brushoff.
That job was listed, IIRC, as a fulltime permanent position. You have to be in their on-call pool for quite some time to be considered for a FTP position with them, so I was not overly surprised that I didn't get it.
Now ... basically the same job is up again, except this time it's listed as "irregular on-call".
So I'm wondering, is it worth it to toss my hat into the ring again?
