  • "As in, A Loaf Of?"

Just had this quick one yesterday at work...new co-worker M was taking a call and couldn't understand what the person was saying. She was trying to get their names, and all we heard for 5 minutes was her asking the person to spell the name with no luck.

    Then silence...

Then this gem: "Bread? As in 'A Loaf Of'? Your name is BREAD!?" She then turns around and gives us this googly-eyed look of insanity, causing the entire office to burst out laughing. Not bad, M, not bad.
"That's too bad. Hospitals aren't fun to fight through."
"What IS fun to fight through?"
"Gardens. Electronics shops. Antique stores, but only if they're classy."

I wouldn't say that! Although, as a complaint, every time I increase the size of Pepper's avatar, it gets all Grainy.

Just roll with it, even if you think your humor is too rye for us. So sesame.

(Waits for someone to come up with a pun based on pumpernickel.)

Well I would do one based on Pumpernickel but I am afraid it would only be half baked....

Y'know, the yeast he could've done was spelt it for her. Though I guess she oven-tually got it. Maybe he should send her some pretty flours as an apology for wasting her thyme?

Oh man, I'm in rare form tonight.

A PSA, if I may, as well as another.

Too bad the customer was calling in, rather than there in person. That way, your co-worker would have been able to see if he had nice buns.
Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.

My guess is the customer ended up being a PITA.

Sometimes it's hard to come up with witty re-tortes, but here's a try...

You'd think his Naan would've taught him to have better manners than that.
