    Slate has come across a stupid criminal who tried to rob a gun store with a baseball bat.

    The Guy Who Allegedly Tried to Rob a Gun Shop with a Baseball Bat

    Surprisingly, he survived, unlike that other guy who tried to rob a gun store in 1990.

    This site proves Corey Taylor right. Man really is a "four letter word."

    Read that the other day on my Fox8news app . . . he's lucky he didn't get a Darwin for that one.

    As for the story on the DA site . . .that's a classic. Right up there with Living On Zionist Time.

      I saw that on the local news when it happened. A detail Slate seems to have missed was that he smashed the case then grabbed one of the (unloaded) guns from inside.

      Which is when the store owner pulled a *loaded* gun on him.

      My money would be on him thinking the gun from the case would be loaded.

        Shows a distinct lack of planning. Much like the crims who attempted to rob a post office, but failed to realise that the post office closed down some time prior and was now only a greengrocer - source The Book of Heroic Failures
