    Are you messing with me?

    Wow. Just wow. This guy...

    A man comes to my window wanting to cash a check. He gives me his players card, I check his play and it's decent. He asks for 1000. I go ask my supervisor and she says okay IF we can verify funds. Which means we have to either call their bank and hear a balance or they can use our computer and print off a statement of what is in there.

    I go out and explain this to the SC.

    SC: You mean I have to have money in my account to cash a check!?

    ME:

    Me: Well, yeah... it's coming from YOUR account. It's not a credit card...

    SC: If I had money I would use the ATM! This is ridiculous! Any other casino would let me!

    me: I am pretty sure they would not. But yes in order to write a check you do need funds in your account.

    He stared at me for quite awhile. Made me a bit nervous...

    I had enough.

    Me: I can't tell if you're messing with me.

    Cuz who could be that stupid?? You guessed it. He was serious. He walked away bitching that we wouldn't just give him money. Seriously??

    BUT, But, but

    He planned to win it all back and more, so why not lend him the money?

    You know he will win it all. After-all, winners always need to borrow money and have nothing in their bank accounts at the same time.

    It is a shame you can not legally tell him where to go to find one of those shady games in someone's back room. They don't need him to have money in the bank, an arm or a leg will do if he can not pay up.

          Does this guy work as security at a bar in Prague? Based on what he was preparing to do, I sort of suspect it.

              He can get the same crazy line as the SC's who think they can keep writing checks as long as they have checks left in their checkbook.
