  • Whats your name?

I was on my lunch break when a woman came inside to complain about my co-worker(OCW) that was outside pumping gas.

She told the inside co-worker(ICW) that he was refusing to sell her gas. That she was going to be late for something unless he sold gas to her. ICW asks her why he wouldn't and she said she didn't know why. She asked who she needed to speakto to get gas. ICW yells for me, I yell back sorry I am not the boss and I am on break.

She repeats she needs gas or she is going to be late. Asks again who she needs to speak to. ICW tells her the owners name and she asks for his home phone number. He says he can't give that out. She asks what the OCW's name is and he doesn't answer. She storms off.

ICW and I go outside to get OCW side. Seems he had 2 cars getting $10 in gas and was putting $5 in a gas can for another customer. When he got them 3 customers done he walked up to her and asked how much she needed. She asked if both sides of the pumps worked at the same time and he said yes. She asked him for his name and he asked why she wanted it. She yelled it was none of his business.

He told her since she wants to act snotty and yell at him she can go down the road and pump her own gas and walked away to another car that pulled up.

OCW hardly ever tells people to go away or get out so when she complained about him I knew she had to of done something to make him not want to serve her. If it would have been any other co-workers I would have went up and seen what was going on and pumped it for her.

We think she got mad because he couldn't be at all 4 pumps at once. Sorry we move as fast as we can. And we have learned the hard way, if a pump clicks off get to it quick because 9 out of 10 times they will pull away and pop the break-away on the hose. Yes even if they have not paid you yet. And its a pain in the rear to get it to go back together again. You have to line the 2 sides up just right and apply 15 PSI. This all being done above your head at arms length.
