  • Don't talk to me, I'm a nurse!

Recently I had a SC, who was talking on their phone the entire time any CW saw them in the store.

A CW reported that the SC asked them for help, while on the phone, and when said CW tried to resound in a pause of the conversation, they yelled at the CW for beige rude and inconsiderate.

Anyway, as a cashier, I couldn't really escape them. They enter my line. I am supposed to ask a few questions and start to.

    M: Hi, do y....
SC: Shut up! Don't f***ing talk to me. Just scan my shit!

I began to ring up their order, the whole time they are talking about how rued and inconsiderate every at said store is. I finish ringing up their order, hit subtotal and wait. And wait. About a minute later.

SC: *to person on the phone* Hold on. *to me* what are you doooing? I said scan my shit!
M: *well, you told me not to talk to you, so, i just point to the screen showing the total*
SC: *to person on the phone* I hate this f***ing store! ever one in her is so F***ign rude!

The SC swipes so sort of card on the PINPAD. Something happens and it declines, of course they are too busy in their phone call to notice. I wait a minute.

    M: Ma'a....
SC: I TOLD YOU TO NOT TALK TO ME! NOW SHUT UP AND GIVE MY MY RECEIPT!
    M: It didn't go thru.
SC: GOD! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE TREATING YOUS PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE SHIT EVERY F***ING TIME I SHOP HERE!

The SC fanatically ties to run their card again, and eventually succeeds, all while bitching about the rude employees on the phone.

M: *silently hand the receipt to SC*
SC: *crumples it up and throws it on the counter* F**K you! F**k you you asshole!

The SC stomps off. A few minutes later I see them talking to the MOD, phone still glued to their ear. All of sudden they storm off yelling, "How dare you treat a F***ing damn nurse, a fu**ing nurse who could save you life like this! (pause) BITCH!"

They apparently stormed off because they call the MOD a "f***ing horey c**t" and were told to leave.

They were not wearing a nurse uniform or ID, because it would have been real fun to call their employer and tell them how they act as Representative of their company.

This is just truly EPIC entitled b*tch behavior. I can't even BEGIN to wrap my grey matter around this; it just dripped-off my brain and crawled into the corner crying and shaking...

I'm sorry but i would've refused to serve her the first time she told you not to "f***ing talk to her". You don't get paid enough to take that from ANYONE. Also, Karma is going to get her back in a HUGE way one of these days. Any possibility you could find out where she works (if she's actually a nurse) and pull her "don't talk to me" stuff on her?

Please tell me that sucktomer is banned.

Or at least next time she comes in, you get full permission to haul off on her verbally.

Awful! I'm with the no service for people who talk like that. Or banning. Ugh. makes me so happy we have a no cell phone policy where I work.

I'm sorry you had to deal with her.

Looks like you have her information to enact a ban.

                My thoughts exactly!

You also probably have the info to find out if she is a nurse, and send a nice little message to her employer. I know if I went around like that while broadcasting I worked for <company/industry>, I'm sure HR would be on me like flies on s***.

Someone needs to remove the cactus from their butts. I hope I never have them as a nurse

I would have refused to serve her, shut my register light off and walked away. Making sure I told my manager or supervisor what went on.
I don't let anyone speak to me that way.
If she really is a nurse, she is an embarassment to all nurses out there and should be ashamed of herself.

Hey, now, let's cut her some slack, she's under a lot of stress.

'Cos, you know, that house fell on her sister and some pretty nobody came along and stole some jeweled footwear that was rightfully hers and all.

The SECOND that the alleged "woman" swore, I would have refused service. I've made this crystal-clear to customers who have transgressed with this issue before: You cuss, you're out!

Not that I'm condoning violence in any way, but if that "woman" keeps up talking to people that way, someone's gonna serve her a knuckle sandwich. With a side of extra knuckle.

I remember having an altercation with a woman who was inline in front of me at the grocery store. She was in her nurses uniform and had her badge on her. I wish I could have gotten close enough to get her place of employement. I think she must have forgotten to take her meds because he was mental. Oh, and the cunt said at one point, "you should be glad I don't hit you!" Teh manager finally showed up but placed me in a different lane.

So I'm guessing this nurse in the OP story either is taking pain meds meant for the patients and abusing them, or needs to get back on her antipsychotic meds.
