After eleven years (way too fucking many, I know) working a c-store I can tell you that article is spot on exactly right. Customers leaving messes? Every day. Lottery people? Check. Dirty bathrooms? Check. The food thing? Well, you didn't hear that from me. Then there's the whole thing with the change. I have actually had people pay me in large amounts of loose pennies. Yes... more than once. Yep. That article was spot on.
