If Peter O'Toole and Joan Fontaine weren't enough to lose over a weekend, another actor has gone on.

RIP, Tom Laughlin, aka Billy Jack. He was 82 years old.

I also found out that Laughlin changed how Hollywood releases movies (according to Wikipedia and IMDB.com). His follow-up, "The Trial of Billy Jack", was the first movie to be released nationwide on one day in over 1000 theaters. Before that, movies were released in a few larger markets and slowly moved across the country. "The Trial of Billy Jack" was called the first 'blockbuster'.
