A guy east river got taken in by the IRS scam and sent them a couple of thousand dollars of iTunes gift cards. My feeling is okay, you believe it's the IRS but come on when they start demanding to be paid in gift cards instead of checks or money orders made out to the IRS then your bullshit detector should be pinging like mad.

C-Store Corporate has set some strict rules about gift cards. We can only sell them during certain hours, and only up to, I believe, $300 or 500 at a time. This is laregely due to scammers calling, having clerks activate cards, and give them the PINs for said cards over the phone. This woman?
