    Towel Day tomorrow!!

    May 25 is Towel Day, in honor of the late Douglas Adams, author of (among other things) The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

    Wear your towels proudly!!

    Cool! I'm sure my oldest will want to take a towel to school tomorrow. I'll have to remember to tell her about it.

      Hmm...we're allowed to wear jeans to work tomorrow, as long as we wear them with red, white and blue (memorial day). ...I think I have a red and white striped towel somewhere...

          As long as I can use this towel for today:

            Buh.

            I've been wearing a bright pink towel all morning and no one has asked me about it.

            Of course, they all think I'm borderline insane anyway, so I doubt this is the strangest thing they think I could do...

              I've had my favorite tropical-print beach towel draped jauntily about my shoulders all day - same result. But then, again, same circumstance.

              To hell with those who don't get it...this is my towel, and I am proud!!! Happy towel day to all!!!
