Depends on the goal.
If the goal is to read a good story, escape from this world for a bit into another, and generally take some time off from reality, then no, you can't beat the real deal.
If, like I find myself doing too much, the goal is to get information, learn a new skill, and have that information readily accessible (and searchable) later, then a paper book is one of the worst mediums I can think of. Web and/or PDF files on an e-reader is better then. Or on a laptop/desktop.Comment
