*sigh* Kinda funny. But the only true part's the bloated bit. The only crashes I've had on my desktop were because I was using beta video drivers, and my laptop's never crashed.

Hilarious but true. Just haven't experienced the crashes yet but plenty of aggravation in the early weeks before I was able to get back on broadband.

There should be a disclaimer on all computers with Vista:

Use of dial-up connection with Vista can result in Internet Erection Dysfunction. Viagra not included.

I fear saying about my experience with vista for making it make me pay for having an opinion that may be of a positive nature....

We have 3 computers (new) with vista. Other than some anti-virus programs having issues (known issues, as in both MS and the company knows - but won't fix it), and one of our notebooks coming with a defective video card, that's been it with issues.

Of course I'm not putting on SP1 until a while later (want to make sure there's no real big problems with others first). And MS messed up a patch for Outlook (not vista related) that sometimes causes major annoyances.

I think it's funny that people call Vista bloated when Mac OS X Leopard comes on a dual-layer DVD and takes up 8GB after installation.

That much? Huh, I've been saying a lot lately that apple's the new Microsoft -- only worse.

But I was wondering... is there something behind your signature of "eBay sucks! Use Craigslist instead!" beyond what it says on the surface? I just wonder since last I knew ebay owns some of craigslist's stock.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! It comes down to a personal preference really. Anything more than that and this becomes Fratching material
