Cop is considered to be "retired under investigation" which affects his police commission and denies him the chance of working as a reserve officer.

Yeah. 15 minutes before he retired after 35 years. For wearing a wrong shirt.

Best part is (Which I read in the paper) that the black police suits were made after all the looting from Katrina. But good chances are that they'll go back to the original blue suit that he wore that day.

In the last 15 minutes of your shift on your last shift the chances of you encountering the public are nil.

The only people who would have a problem with this would be the public as an officer turning up in the wrong uniform would be confusing at best.
