    Sandy Allen dies at 53

    Worlds tallest woman. I saw her at Ripleys BIoN Musuem in 1986, but left early because I felt like I was gawking and it was wrong to stare, even if she was there of her own free will. She left there the next year because she no longer felt comfortable being on display.

      That's sad. There was a special on gigantism on the National Geographic Channel that I saw a few weeks ago. It featured her and a couple other people.

      The hospital that they were at apparently gives out t-shirts that say Life is Short. I'm Not.

        I'm sorry for the news. I got to meet her at a Tall Clubs International get-together back in the mid/late 90's (I was an honorary short mascot of a local chapter).

        She was a really nice person.
        Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end.
