One of the taekwondo contenders for the bronze metal had an injury to his foot, took too much time to get back onto his feet, and was disqualified. Then he kicked the referee in the head!

He got the banhammer from every big, official taekwondo organization for life, as well as forfeited the bronze medal.

I read that and they DQ'd him from the bronze metal for taking too much injury time. Some sportsman like conduct he exhibited.

I'm glad they permanantly banned him, but holy s&$#! That shows a complete lack of self control. That man is a trained fighting machine, what he did was the equivalent of a normal person not getting there way and hitting you with a baseball bat. I'm a 2nd degree blackbelt in TKD and quite frankly this man disgusts me.
