It reminds me of the horrible animatronics at Wal-Mart . . . or last year when I was working for WD, that whiny little toy that always played an off-key version of Jingle Bells and kids would simply NOT stop playing with it . . .

For me, it was this life-sized, animated Santa Claus we had several years ago.

Whenever you walked past it, it would sing Christmas carols and wiggle and writhe in a manner that was supposed to resemble dancing.

Every time I'd pass the damn thing, it would say "Ho ho ho, how about a song to get you into the holiday spirit?"

Cram it Kris Kringle. How about a kick in the groin to shut you up?

At least it's not Hannah Montana...

During Back to school this year, we had Hannah Montana and High School Musical singing pens. WORST. IDEA. EVER.

Imagine this... long lines... tons of kids and parents trying to find all the crap they need for back to school. Most of them trying to get more than the limit of 5 of the free this or the limit of 10 of the 5 cent that. All the registers running. I'm at the customer service register...
