I know we have a lot of Goths and Goth friendly types here, so this post at Tacky Weddings (yeah, I know) I thought was very cool. I would kill for some of those cakes!

I went to a goth wedding once; it was really tasteful, and the bride and groom looked fantastic. ^^

I love that red and black dress pictured, too. ^^

I don't know what to say.

      I'm bringing disdain back...with a vengeance.

Oh, and your tool box called...you got out again.

the first few pics weren't that great... too much white face paint!
You CAN do goth without it!

but the rest wasn't bad. I liked the red dress... .and oooo sweet pink hair.

after that.. the shots and outfits looked more professional. well except for the corset and non-existent pants. tho the couple after that looked smashing.

and um, black latex... maybe for some kinda magazine or photo shoot, but not for a wedding.

but oh man i like that last cake. cute and very well made!

          Red dress is mine. XD

I would love to have a gothic wedding; sadly tho, I don't see my mum going for it. -.- I've already told my mum that I will not wear white, but will wear red if I ever tie the knot.

I don't understand one of the pics - the one with the women in vinyl hot pants. Are vinyl hot pants considered "goth"? Either way, they're really inappropriate for a wedding.

Most of the other weddings wouldn't be my thing, but I wouldn't consider them tacky. Basically, they looked like regular weddings with a different colour scheme. Good for the brides and grooms for doing what they want on their wedding day!

If you have to ask, it's probably better posted at www.fratching.com

i think the vinyl pants are a bit of both worlds...

a little bit goth (especially when in black)
              and a little bit burlesque
