  • Oh, that was just awesome.
Low lie the Fields of Athenry/ Where once we watched the small free birds fly/ Our love was on the wing/ we had dreams and songs to sing/ It's so lonely around the Fields of Athenry

    • How is that not plagiarism?

Let me get this straight. You were passing off your brother's work as your own. He apparently passed someone else's work as his own. Either way, you're guilty of plagiarism.

I read that one. I'm still not sure if it wasn't possibly exaggerated. I mean, who does that??

Apparently, that SC isn't the only one on that site that attacked a worker because they were wearing glasses. I hope nobody does that to my glasses or my sunglasses.

Except for the scratches from long nails, one of my older cousins. In my case, I got a finger in my eye as my glasses were removed without my consent, then when I objected loudly, an elbow to the side of my head. "Accidentally, of course' according to said cousin when questioned.

              • ... yeah, anybody who breaks my glasses? is going to get a demand for the £115 it would cost me to replace them. ( $175, so you can see why I refuse to eat the cost.)

                • If someone had tried to grab my glasses, they'd get their hand smacked away. And if they had smashed them, I'd smash their face.

Then again, I've been fortunate not to have to deal with anyone crazy enough to go for my glasses. Plus they don't look anything "hipster"-like.

I envy you the cost of your glasses. I just had to get a new pair myself because I need stronger lenses, and they cost $500, mainly because the prescription is so high.

I understand the student's unhappiness - I too lost a project when an asshole hit the "lights off" emergency button and the computer I was working on shut off. and yes we had deep freeze.

however I was bright enough to not scream at any of the employees and, after that, I always made a point of saving to my thumbdrive vs the desktop etc.

although i still of course think that student who hit the "emergency" button was an asshole - cos there is NO point in doing what he did. others shouldn't have to pay for his emotional problems. yet we had to.

Maybe it's me but ... I sympathize with the lecturer. Students didn't want to be there? Did they ever think that he didn't want to be there either?

If anything the heckler probably made a bad day even worse by acting like an asshat.

Somehow I don't think the heckler was ACTING. To top it off, from the NAL item, it looks like the HECKLER is the one who submitted it, so he seems to be proud of being an asshat.
Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.

all i can say is... i'm surprised the customer didn't press charges of sexual assault after the manager tried groping her boobs to see if they were real

and in this one I understand the employee's response. The employee already said "I am off work" ... so really the customer shouldn't continue asking for where something is located.
