Founder of Dragon*Con was charged with child molestation nine years ago.

Charged with doesn't equate with guilty, but I'd heard about this before.

Yeah, we knew about it. I am not sure if he is still is charge of the con or not, but we were aware of it.

all i can say is... cons are not the place to let your kids run off unescorted.

i know many people feel it is just that but... yes there are adults who go to these just to seduce minors.

one of my friends met a guy like that. my friend was pretty much horrified. tho he didn't actually see the guy in action.

No I haven't. But then again I was only 11 years old at the time and didn't pay attention to this sort of thing.
