Is it just me or is this article very consending to people without a lot of college education...

There's a real prejudice around against those who don't have college degrees, which is STUPID. I know some real idiots with grad degrees, and some very intelligent people with GEDs. It's sad, because a lot of people feel forced into higher education that they neither want nor need. I say, bring back the respect for trade schools, apprenticeships, and good old-fashioned hard work!

I know steve jobs didn't... he has a whole essay on how he's learned more from his failures than his successes.

Lol, one of my co-managers at <old job> was in the Navy for like 15 years or something and is has a lot of experience in welding and other skills that could land him a high paying job. And yet he's a co-manager at a small independent grocery store in the middle of nowhere for the last 8 years. Why? Because his wife died and he took to "lower-job" so he can take care of his kids. And you know what he likes his job.

People need to realise "lower-jobs" aren't always so bad. It's not like people look down at yo- Okay never mind, you shouldn't care what other people think anyway. It's income htat counts for something right?
