I personally never got into any of this crap.Hell I could never afford any of this crap.Its just rich people relizing that they wasted their money.

the closest we even came was buying a fairly large TV. We justified it because Hubby has poor eyesight and a larger TV made sense for him. Still, we never went over about 40 inches.

I do remember the 1980s when we had the young Wall St. Hotshots moving in. They had it all -- His & Her BMWs, designer baby clothes, gold faucets. Then the bust came and they couldn't even afford the monthly common charges on their apartments let alone the mortgage.

Remember the old quote from Charles Dickens, "Annual income 20 Pounds. Annual expenditure, 19 pounds, 19 shillings, result -- Happiness. Annual income 20 Pounds. Annual expenditure, 20 Pounds one shilling, result -- Disaster".

Actually, a lot of the home financing stuff was done by people who really couldn't afford it. Being rich really didn't have a lot to do with it.
