The correct answer to "do you want to go to jail" in a situation like that is "Yes, sir. I do. I'd like it very much if you would arrest me now."
At least, I think that's the correct answer. I'm sure any lawyer I called would probably agree with me.
(I think the actual, ver batum quote would be something like:
"I'd like you to arrest me now, because it will ensure that within a week's time you will be in a most unpleasant prison with the mutant erection of a career dog rapist deep in your colon."
