Wholemeals were a dog "treat" (well, not really) shaped like a bone and were designed to be an entire meal for your average dog. They were also hard so they helped keep dogs' teeth clean.
When away - this was just about the only thing Zorro would eat and they were GREAT - one bag of Whole Meals (about the size of a 3-5 pound bag of dog food) would replace a bag 10-15+ pounds on short trips.
They were healthy (about the same level as Nutro Max - definitely not crap) and were the best food supplement we've ever had for our dogs.
