Ultrasound Cakes

Our friends at Cake Wrecks have discovered a horrifying new trend: cakes with ultrasounds pics on them.

Here's the problem, based on my experience with my ultrasound pics:

Regular ultrasound, before 20 weeks: Kid looks like a blob with another blob at one end and two blobs at the other.

20 Week Ultrasound: Kid looks like Skeletor because his skin is transparent so you can see into the eye sockets.

3-D Ultrasounds: Kid looks like a dead baby.

I don't think I could make myself eat one of these.

I could eat it if the cake was good but then again I'm a horrid person that way. You're right about it being a creepy trend. What happend to having a cake that said "Congratulations on the baby"?

I couldn't eat a cake like that, let alone the belly cakes. Too creepy for words.

Can't they just make a cake with a cute cartoon stork or a rattle on them anymore?! What's with the edible sonograms? Yuk!
