    IAU general assembly is meeting next week, and while it is unlikely Pluto will be reinstated....there is a chance....

    I still consider Pluto a planet. Whatever it's called, it's up there doing its thing...lol.

        Pluto is a planet.

        I don't know what the big fuss is over - make it simple:

        "If a body is large enough that it's own gravity forces it into a spherical shape, then it is a planet (unless it is a "moon" / natural satellite)".

          Pluto never stopped being a planet for me. And it never will. I don't care if it's considered a dwarf planet for another 20 years, I'll still call it a planet.

            Hear hear!

            Pluto=Planet. I was taught by one of Clyde Tombaugh's grad students, and actially got a cool pic of him (my teacher) by Clyde's telescope in AZ

              actually if the term is dwarf planet then officially it is a planet. My great aunt is my aunt, my second cousin is still my cousing and a dwarf star is still a dwarf no matter how famous he is, So therefore Pluto is a planet.
