An actress with Brittle Bone Disease heads up a theatre company for other people with disabilities. A wonderful example of 1) the necessity of live theatre and 2) a person overcoming terrible odds to achieve wonderful things.

(She does discuss her problems with Medicare and health care, please, let's don't go there, that's for Fratching. I posted this because of her chutzpah in running a theatre group.)

My wife always uses brittle bone disease as a comparison of why her handicap (hip dysplasia / prosethic hips) isn't "that bad". She would be in the same room with children who would crack ribs if they sneezed.
