So that's less than $2 a dvd. Where as if you copy a dvd you could be fined 250,000. Yeah way to throw the book at him.

Well what he's doing here is reinbursing Netflix for the physical property that he stole. But yeah, I agree that a fine that big for unauthorized copying is a little silly.
