I have to say, I'm not a fan of Telemarketers but I generally find that "Sorry, Mate, I'm [at work/busy/can't talk right now] " works well enough. I've never done this to one of them

She sounds bipolar to me. One of my childhood friends has a mom who is bipolar, and on her downswing days, she would go on rants like this. It's really scary.
