Don't they realise that the cat won't go near it again without clawing the frag out of someone's arm?

It was done so 'the cat smelled better', so it wasn't for the cat's benefit.

Dogs don't panic about such things so much, but that was cruel when using it for the cat. Definitely a device created by people who don't like animals.

At first I'll admit that I chuckled, but then it was WTF? That was pretty damn cruel of the owner to put the cat in there. I hope kitty gave someone a good clawing when they got home.
