Comic writer Dwayne McDuffie passed away earlier today, at the age of 49. He wrote for both DC and Marvel comics, and was one of the founding fathers of Milestone Comics, an imprint dedicated to providing more positive ethnic superheroes. He also did work in TV animation on "Static Shock", "Ben-10", "Justice League" and "Justice League Unlimited".
