Wow some great desktop theme material here. While I like all of them so far, the blood moon link has some of my favorites...my next one might be that dark angel slave one on that link.

If you use Win7, one of the options under Desktop > (right click) > Personalize is the ability to make a custom theme. Somewhere in there is the option to just tthrow in as many images as you like, and have the system change the background for you at intervals. My desktop is a puppy. My work desktop is a mouse hanging onto a flower stem. I would post them but I don't have enough room in my attachments right now and I don't feel like cleaning them out at the moment.

Bookstore: You may be able to scale the picture up somewhat in a decent image editor (theGIMP is good, and it's free), but probably not to humungous Desktop size. In any case, doing the scaling yourself will come out looking better than letting Windows do it on the fly.
