    This is really pretty. It's a red tide that has a glowing chemical and it only activates when there are waves or something moves through the mass like a surfer.

    And it's in Cali

    I have seen that in the waters of the San Juan Island during the summer. Not to that extent but it is so beautiful to see.

      Wow! That is so beautiful! And trippy!

      I've seen waves glow here on the east coast in the summer, but not to this extent. It's a very subtle greenish (sometimes pinkish) glow that you can see if you go way out on the fishing piers on a dark night, and go past the break point where waves start to build. But it's nowhere near as bright and you'd miss it if you didn't know to look for it.
