    When my mother moved the moving van had that type of problem.

    Their GPS was saying to go a certain way, but it was through a tunnel that they obviously could not fit through, so they called my mother to ask if she knew an alternate route. (the tunnel is rarely used even for people whom live in the area because it's much faster to take the 4 lane road 1 block over and the tunnel is on a 2 lane road with just one lane through it so why the GPS would send them that way is a wonder to me.)

      Reminds me of this commercial where this guys nav system tells him to turn right and he goes through the front of this store, then you hear the system tell him "in 50 feet."
