The USS Edson heads up the Detroit River

The USS Edson is heading to Bay City, Michigan to become a museum ship. Yesterday I had the pleasure to catch pictures of her as she headed up the Detroit River.

What I am sad about is the current state of affairs of the Red Banner sub fleet. Once the pride of the Soviet fleet, and an honorable foe they are sitting abandoned and polluting their waters.
