What really disturbs me is the fact that the _employee_ got reamed for trying to stand up to EW Mom and her thieving child!

There is an update. DM absolved the employee and SM now has some 'spling to do.
Agreed this would not be out of place in MIM.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

I'm happy the DM will give the SM a good talking to about that epic SC fail!

Cute but wrong. Mom should have bought the balloon and THEN she and her daughter could send it to Nana. Glad the cashier was vindicated.

I really, REALLY feel for the cashier. I work in a store like that, except my boss would've called security on that woman. But I also know that last time I pissed her off (Someone told me the roster had changed and asked her about it, and I was definitely polite - she freaked the f*** out.. learned my lesson the hard way ) she started acting like a toddler and treating me like complete dirt. I wouldn't care if I didn't have to live with it every work day. The employee may have been vindicated, but the situation can easily get worse.
