I came across this article and went

there seems to be a growning thing with just married couples inviting the wedding photographer to take pics of them "The Morning After"

Tacky. And yet another example of people being more caught up in "recording" a moment than actually living it.

Man, the LAST thing I wanted the morning after my wedding was a damn camera in my face. All I wanted to do was wear comfy shoes, eat breakfast and be lazy.

If the pictures in the article are examples of the work... I am very impressed.

The photographer really captured the beauty of intimacy with a touch of eroticism.


I especially like the color photo of the couple in bed. The way they're positioned shows the togetherness, even though she's not looking at her husband. Plus I love how the photographer used the light on their skin. And personally, I always love photos with narrow fields of focus.


Obviously it's not for everyone, not everyone is comfortable with the same level of exposure. But for couples that do want to have a more intimate book to share... I say, go for it. If you can get photos as tastefully done as the ones in this article, it will be very beautiful and artistic. Erotic yes, but not pornographic. (although that's ok too if that's what the couple wants, and can find someone to shoot for them)

This is a new one on me. I had no idea people were doing this. I do like the photos, but for me personally I wouldn't want to have it done. Might not mind being the photographer though
