    Booze, booths, canoodling and credit cards: dinner out on the town can be a recipe for awkwardness, both for diners and the staff that serves them.

    would rather have one angry guest leave because he told them to be quiet than 10 angry guests because he did nothing about it.
    It's a no-win situation for the employee tho. I've read letters from both sides at PFB.
    People complaining because they were asked to be quiet. And people wanting to punish the employee for the other table's noise or behavior.

    Da fuck? Revenge on customers by lying about the card being declined? That's not just a juvenile attempt to "shame" the customer - that's outright STEALING if they already ran the card.

    And it may be harder to get the money back since it won't look like a double charge - it'll just be a single charge on each account.
