RIP, Inspector Dreyfus of the Surete

Herbert Lom, who was so hilariously funny as Inspector Dreyfus in the "Pink Panther" movies, is now gone, age 95.

Twitching to the end, perhaps. I found a YouTube video clip of Lom, in his most famous role, eulogizing the "late" Inspector Clouseau - and being unable to contain his laughter; handkerchief to mouth, tears streaming down his face, everyone thinks he is overcome with grief. Then, at the graveside, he sees Clouseau and promptly faints, falling directly into the grave.
