Hey, all my CS.com friends! I'm in a play! The Pentacle Theatre in Salem, Oregon, is putting on a modern version of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." We've kept the original text, but it is in a modern setting with modern themes.
Some tantalizing preview tidbits here:
Shakespeare's Dream Gets a Punk Edge
If you're in or near Salem and are interested in coming to watch me (in my "divisive" role) and my friends in this fun re-imagining of a classic play, tickets can be found here:
Pentacle Theatre - Buy Tickets Online
(Pentacle Theatre is a non-profit community organization. Performers are not paid for their participation and receive no benefit from promoting the show. November 21st offers the least expensive tickets.)
I'm not trying to sell tickets with this post (though, obviously, you'd have to buy some if you want to see the show). I'm just offering a chance for my online friends to come have some good ol' theatric fun. When the actors have trouble keeping straight faces through the funny scenes during rehearsals, you know it's going to be good!
