I've been playing this game for over a year, and it's fantastic, especially now with the big update that came out about a day ago, it's got a whole bushel of new features!
Features : Build your own rockets to launch stuff into space, from Command Modules, Space Stations, probes and Spaceplanes (all without any mods), failure is not an option...it's an eventuality!
- Docking, Thisis finally in the game, it allows spacecraft to dock with each other, so you can build massive stations, either just because, or to act as fueling stations for interplanetary flights! You can also transfer fuel resources when docked and personell, altohugh that does require a spacewalk!
-EVA's and IVA's, Basically, at the moment, space walking! So if you want to transfer crew between docked craft, or just joyride on the outside of your rocket, you can.
-Electricity, plenty of stuff requires electricity now, from an Ion Engine, to scientific tools and you can now collect electricity via Solar Panels (generators too, but they don't look nearly as awesome)
-AN ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM TO PLAY AROUND IN! - I'm not kidding either, at least half a dozen planets, all different from each other, and many more than that in orbital bodies (moons)
-Flight Planner, ever wondered what would happen if you burned prograde at a particular point of your orbit? Now you can find out beforehand via the flight planner, it allows you to plan burn times and directions in advance, offering you helpful UI indicators telling you when, where and how long to burn for.
- An Incredible Mod Community, KSP has attracted dozens fo mod makers, from people who make spacecraft parts, to people who write programs that can be run from ingame!
- A Fantastic Dev Team, Squad (the developers) listen to and take into account what the community wants, adding in interesting suggested features into the full game.
- Free Demo, although it is a much older version, without many of the things in the new version.
-Much, Much More, It's one o those games where you really have to check it out.
