My county did that about five years prior to me buying my house. My insurance agent told me about it explaining that is why my fire insurance was a little higher than the surrounding counties.

I remember hearing something like that happening once. Crews were out battling a blaze started by lightening and while they were out a tree got struck and set a house next to the station on fire which had something fall which set the parking lot going (there was greenery between two lines of parking), and scorched the wall of the station.
