I've noticed a bit of a glitch on the forum, where if you're on the last page of a thread, it looks like there's another page after it, but when you try to go to the next page you're back on the previous (penultimate?) page. Another symptom?

I've noticed a bit of a glitch on the forum, where if you're on the last page of a thread, it looks like there's another page after it, but when you try to go to the next page you're back on the previous (penultimate?) page. Another symptom?

It's because of deleted posts. If you delete a post, it essentially becomes invisible, not deleted (the mods can still see it). So there are "hidden" posts that push the page count even though you don't actually see it. (There's probably a better explanation in the Bugs and Questions forum.)
