On a recent shopping trip to the mall I was accosted with a credit card offer at darn near every store I chose to shop at. I'm sitting here looking at 8 different CC applications, all to different stores. And those were only the ones that would give me an application, ostensibly so I could read the fine print.
Some of em were darn persistent, though I didn't crack.
Did get grumpy, though.
Here's the idea. Start a campaign, Facebook, Kickstarter, Indigogo or otherwise, and have people send these applications to the President of the Company.
The campaign would print envelopes with some sort of slogans, etc. essentially trying to raise notice just how annoying the damn "wannacard, wannacard, wannacard?" gets to be.
Other ideas on actions, publicity, etc can apply, just got the germ of the idea and decided to check if the domain name that popped into my head was available.
the domain name I'm thinking sounds nice for this campaign is www.corporatechargeback.com
Well, there's the latest edition of insomnia idea theatre.
If anyone wants to take it an run, go for it.
If it somehow leads to to riches and fame for ya, I dunno, call me an idiot by engraving "you shoulda done it" on a mac pro or something.
