So I kind of have a cat now

Long story short: Got a boyfriend now. He's probably a little more animal nuts than me. He recently moved to a house on a farm.

So he was walking the dogs, and one of them brought over a kitten. So now we have a kitten (which stays at his place, since my place doesn't allow cats).

The first pic is of Shandy a couple days after she joined us.

The second pic is BF's deaf dog Dory, snuggling with Shandy. She's decided Shandy is HER cat and they play all the time

Awww! Those pics are just too cute! Kitten is adorable, and Dory is so sweet.

Yup, the cat has adopted 2 humans and four dogs! BF calls her the Tigress, and she's a very confident little thing. When she went to the vet for her shots, she was scurrying around the reception area, and the receptionist mentioned that this was the first cat that she had seen that wasn't cowering on their owner's lap. Clever little girl

I give her six months or so to start opening doors and cabinets and drawers in the house. And she'll only need that long for the ones she's not actually big enough to get open yet. Such a cute little cat.

I've got child locks on several cabinets in our house and the outside doors all have round knobs- our Mister Kitteh likes to go round opening things from time to time.
